Posted in Food, General, Health, Nutrition, Vitamins

Head, shoulders, knees and toes, eyes and ears and mouth and nose… as the song goes, but we are missing some important things, and that is the topic of my upcoming presentation on vitamins and minerals, starting with A-C.

Are you aware that every function of the body is unique and requires fuel. Vitamins have different jobs like resisting infections, keeping nerves healthy and giving you energy and so much more.

The number one fuel source for these nutrients will be found in foods, hopefully the foods you are choosing!

So much of what is offered as food today is devoid of what we need. You will only need and eat so many calories in a day. You may be eating more than you need as your body craves certain nutrients. I’m offering a class that will help us see what vitamins and minerals do in the body. It will help us make educated decisions with our meal plans and this will have a beneficial on our health for now and the future.

This is not a vitamin sales class. This is pure information from reliable resources that you can take and apply for the rest of your better life!

Come on out to my studio with a notepad, pen, and a ready mind for an hour of information that will enable you to know if you are getting what you need with the foods you are choosing.  It has been my motto for years “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.

Saturday November 7th at 12:30.

Cost is $12., or $10. for my clients or zumba participants.  Such a deal!

Please let me know if you will attend so I can have enough seating.

“Darla is a great trainer and fitness coach. When I first became a client, I was recovering from a shoulder injury. She made sure my routine was appropriate and continued to coach me to greater levels of stamina and strength. And, the cool thing is that she truly cares about what I want to accomplish. Now four years later, my doctor informed me that my “age markers” were those of someone 20 years younger than my chronological age.”
