Posted in Food, Health, Nutrition, VitaminsHow important is proper nutrition? Let’s start with the cardiovascular syste. It needs the B vitamins in balance to protect the heart by reducing homocysteine levels in the blood (homocysteine is a common amino acid found in the blood, high levels are related to early development of heart and blood vessel disease). Arteries and nerve fibers are benefitted from the necessary B vitamins. The B vitamins B3, B6, B12, and Biotin are also beneficial to metabolic health along with vitamin E, CoQ10, chromium, magnesium and zinc, to help with processing daily sugar/carbohydrate keeping systems responsive to insulin and restoring lost insulin reception. Some sources of B Vitamins include, Beef, Brewer’s yeast, Chicken, Chick-peas, Eggs, Kidney bean, Navy beans, Brown rice, Whole wheat, Rye, Salmon, Sunflower seeds, Swiss Cheese, and Wheat germ….this blog to be continued.
