It is very challenging in our fast paced society to make sure we have time to take care of one of the most valuable things we have, our health. It can feel overwhelming just getting started making the necessary changes to eat healthier and to get regular exercise into your already busy life.  In our minds, it takes too long to prepare a healthy meal and we don’t have time for exercise. If only we had support from our family or friends!  Sometimes you need to just go solo and listen to your inner cheerleader!  Yes, you are always talking to yourselfd, so you must decide to shut off the excuses and encourage yourself that you can do it! When others won’t get on your band wagon, just say “that’s ok” I’m still going ahead with my plan. Watch what happens when people recognize the difference in your attitude and your body! You must first learn to be your own advocate…then you will become one for someone else.  You can do it! Remember there are professionals, like personal trainers, out there who can help you make a plan. That may be what you need to get started. No time like the present!
